iSiS-Ex makes its mark at Offshore Technology Conference in Houston

Only UK specialist in ‘mission critical’ explosion proof computers showcases its latest products and launches new Zone 2, Class 1 Division 2 computer

MALTON-based iSiS-Ex is back from the world’s foremost conference and exhibition in the offshore oil and gas industries – the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas – with a record number of enquiries and the successful launch of its new Zone 2 product under its belt.

Determined to demonstrate its commitment to the all-important Gulf of Mexico market, the company fielded a 7-strong team led by managing director, Howard Gould.

It took the opportunity to showcase its existing range of Zone 1 products, including the 12.1” IS700, 15” IS800 and 19” IS900 human-machine interfaces (HMI’s), as well as launch its brand new Zone 2, Class 1 Division 2 lightweight PC workstation – the IS1202.

Certified to ATEX, IEC-Ex and NEC standards, the IS1202 provides the marketplace with a completely new source of Zone 2 products.
